Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book but I did think that that summary sounded interesting. Dead dreams was definitely interesting lol. This was an extremely quick read, almost too quick. I felt like it was cut short. The reader is left on a cliffhanger with a lot of unanswered questions. I liked and hated the mystery all at the same time because I hated not knowing what was going on. I will absolutely be reading the next book for that exact reason.
At the beginning of the story I found Brie to be a strong and independent woman until Sarah showed up. I found that Sarah drained Brie's confidence and always talked down to her. She took advantage of Brie being naive. I didn't like Sarah from the start, I could tell she wasn't being honest and was hiding something. As the story started to unravel we learned a bit about each of them but I need way more. I can't wait to find out how everything is connected and what happened to the missing characters.
This was a really great mystery read but I was left wanting a lot more and I hope that the next book has it. I'm excited to hear the real story about Sarah. I would recommend this book to those who love a good mystery read, but I would warn them to have book two handy.
