Blog Tour and Review: Gravely Inanimated- Ester Wheelmaker

Summary:
It has been thirty years since England was plagued by zombies. Humans fear for their lives while the dead kill the living.
By the cover of night, a man known only as Aeron hunts these creatures. On one foggy evening he finds Lucille Knight's life in jeopardy and Aeron's interest is instantly peaked when he saves the young lady.
But Aeron will have competition when Lucy meets Lord Garrett Ashdown, son of the Inventor, Earl Thomas.
Lucy is drawn to the masked man and equally mysterious Lord. With one concealing his true identity and the other hiding a ghastly secret, she does not know which one is less dangerous.
Will she be able to be with the man she chooses when she learns the awful truth?

Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This book has a beautiful cover and a very intriguing storyline. Zombies and Steampunk together in one novel, Yes Please!! Another cool part of the novel was at each chapter there was a picture of a Steampunk mask. I liked how the zombies in this novel were almost like vampires, only coming out at night. I also enjoyed the big twist and I was not expecting that. I really liked reading all the details about the clothing that the characters wore, I love Steampunk clothing. There was also a lot of mystery and fight scenes that I enjoyed reading.
Lucy was an awesome lead character. She showed growth from being hoity toity to a bad ass zombie slayer. I also enjoyed her sense of humor. I did feel bad for Lucy at some points but she overcame the  challenges gracefully. I also loved the "fake" love triangle, even though I could predict what was going to happen a mile away. But I was really shocked about the secret that the Ashdown family was hiding. Regardless, Lord Garrett is a hottie and I would kill zombies anyway with Aeron.
I will most definitely carry on with this series. I need to know if the evil will be extinguished. I would recommend this book to zombie lovers and Steampunk fans.
