Review #100: Lost and Found- Trish Marie Dawson

Summary: She survived Earth's worst global pandemic. In the city she learned how to cope with the roaming dead. Tucked away in the mountains she struck down the living who tried to kill her. Now Riley fights a new battle - the one within herself. Wracked with survivor's guilt and an almost crazed sense of duty that takes her out of the solitude of the Southern California mountains and into the heart of Orange County, she makes a series of choices that can lead to the destruction of everything she's managed to save.

In the end, will it all be worth it? What will be lost? What will be found? And which questions will be left unanswered?

Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This was an awesome second book in the Find Me series. It starts off right where book one ended without skipping a beat. I actually liked book two better. There was so much going for it, action (fighting, gunfights and car crashes), romance, old friends showing up, new friends showing up, and new pets being found. Sensory overload of goodness! During all of that, there was still mystery surrounding everything and I can't wait to find out the "real" story of what is going on.

In this book Riley is more of a daredevil queen, doing crazy stunts even if they could kill her. She also tries to be very Maytr like. Connor is stil the resident hottie, but in this book he grows more of a backbone towards Riley which leads to a few fights, but also some great make- up sex lol. Kris is still a big mystery but she does open up a bit which aides in a rescue mission of sorts.

I am loving this series quite a bit for it being in the "adult" age category. I have a feeling that each new book with outdo the previous and I can't wait. I would receommed this series to most readers but especially those who love post- Apocolyptic reads.

About the Author:
Trish was born and mostly raised in San Diego, California where she lives now with her family and pets. She's been writing short stories and poetry since high school after an obsession with Stephen King's 'The Stand'. After over fifteen years of crazy dreams and an overactive imagination, Trish began her first book 'I Hope You Find Me' in December of 2011. When Trish isn't writing, she's homeschooling her amazing daughter and mildly autistic son, reading whatever she can get her hands on, or enjoying the Southern California sun. As a strict Vegetarian, Trish holds a special place in her heart for animal rights and dashes into the backyard weekly to rescue lizards and mice from her mini-lab/cocker spaniel mixed dog, Zoey...who is always getting into some sort of trouble.
